All motorsports have pit stops. It’s all part of the motoring world and these passages are just as important as the rest of the race. But sometimes they fail…
The mechanics responsible for managing the passages to the pits are extremely important for the driver. Without them, he is nothing and above all, the more efficient and effective they are, the more likely he is to succeed in his race.
But like everything, sometimes things don’t go as planned. We see it for example in Formula 1 (hello Ferrari)but in all other disciplines as well.
Moreover today, it is on the side of United States that we turn and more particularly in the direction of Nascar. In the country of Uncle Sam, this discipline is very popular and this Sunday, on the occasion of the Grand Prix of Homestead, in Miami, a driver and his team offered us an anthology pit-stop.

We don’t really know how, but the driver managed to arrive in the wrong direction at the pits. An unexpected U-turn therefore forced its mechanics to adapt and obviously that was not their strong point.
The poor had to make do with this unexpected incident. Unfortunately, it took over 40 seconds to free the car. And even when the driver was able to resume the race, he still had to turn around to start in the right direction, all in the middle of the pit lane… A real masterclass!
