This rally car leaves the road and impales itself in a pole, it is even more impressive on board camera

A rally accident is never smooth and calm. At the speed at which drivers travel in their cars on steroids, the crashes are often spectacular. But there, these two men are doing very well!

Two years ago, during the Samsonas Rally, Lithuaniathe pilot of a BMW E36 Series 3 was involved in an impressive accident. Launched at full speed in the race, the driver and his co-driver could do nothing to avoid the crash.

The two found themselves in the background in mere seconds, but it wasn’t padded bushes that stopped them. Nope, the BMW came to rest against a piece of wood supposed to maintain a fence on the edge of the road!

The shock was then so violent that the pole in question entered the cockpit. However, no injuries were reported. Miracle, stroke of luck, call it what you want, the pictures speak for themselves.

Luckily, the wooden post came to fit between the pilot and the co-pilot! This is obviously what saved their lives because otherwise the consequences could have been fatal.

Of course, needless to say, the race was not finished by the crew of this BMW E36 3 Seriesfar too damaged for that.
