Audacity. here is one of the names considered by the Losange for its future compact SUV, replacing Kadjar, according to information gleaned by our colleagues from Caradisiac.

A surname … daring, since Renault is not used to giving cars common names. A few exceptions such as the Espace minivan, the Express van or the little-known Alliance (designed for the American market) nevertheless appear in the Boulogne-Billancourt archives.

The idea must be validated by Luca de Meo, boss of the brand for a year and a half. Trained in the school of marketing, the Italian leader could be particularly careful on this question.
According to Caradisiac, the name “would not be unanimous internally, the marketing department being aware that this word is already used by other brands, which could complain about it. Renault registered the name at the end of 2020 with the INPI ”.
