Volkswagen has taken advantage of the changes in the rules of the ecological bonus to revise the prices of the ID.3 upwards!
Attention, an ID.3 info can hide another one. While Volkswagen has just formalized the launch of the restyled version in 2023, it has revised upwards the prices of the version currently on sale.
As a reminder, due to the shortage of semiconductors which complicates production, the manufacturer had rationalized the range, with a single, well-equipped Active finish. There is a two-tone silhouette, 18-inch rims, LED headlights and lights, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, 10-inch touch screen, heated front seats and steering wheel, as standard. the air conditioning or the rear view camera.
The Active is offered with two technical configurations, Pro Performance and Pro S. Both have a block of 150 kW, or 204 hp. The first receives a 58 kWh battery, which gives it a combined WLTP range of 424 km. The second has a 77 kWh battery, with a long range of 556 km.

Electric Renault Mégane: sharp rise in prices
The prices have therefore increased a little. The Active Pro Performance is now displayed at €46,100, instead of €44,990. Volkswagen has adapted to the maximum bonus rules! Previously, the €6,000 bonus was granted for vehicles up to €45,000. Hence the old price of €44,990. But the threshold was raised to €47,000. Volkswagen was therefore able to increase the price of the car while retaining the maximum bonus. Other brands have done the same, for example Renault with its electric Mégane.
For the Active Pro S, it’s €49,100, so we’re out of the maximum bonus zone. The aid is €2,000… until December 31, because the bonus must then be reduced.
