The range of the new Alfa SUV is now complete with the recent introduction of the plug-in hybrid variant which comes at the top. The addition is salty.

€10,000 more than the 160 hp hybrid version
Rather well placed in price compared to the competition with its other engines, the Tonale is less attractive with the peak. It will cost €51,000 at the very least, it’s exactly €10,000 more than the 160 hp model with a similar finish. Admittedly, the power is beyond measure, but it is still expensive for the additional 120 hp and the all-wheel drive. Because, the endowment does not change one iota. We will console ourselves as we can with a very generous endowment with dual-zone auto air conditioning, digital instrumentation and 10.25″ touch screen, induction charger, adaptive cruise control, 20″ rims or even Matrix full LED lights. On the two upper levels TI and Veloce, the difference between the “simple” and rechargeable hybrid reaches €10,100. Count on €56,000 for the most expensive Tonale. It’s a lot. This is a little more, for example, than the top-of-the-range BMW X1 plug-in hybrid, admittedly less powerful, 245 hp. And there is no question of counting on the government bonus of €1,000 allocated to PHEV models since all Tonale plug-in hybrids cross the €50,000 mark. However, this is the limit not to be exceeded to take advantage of it. Let’s hope that its services are up to its tariff claims, to be checked soon.
