After the charging cable, here are the charging stations signed Lidl, with once again prices that defy all competition.
Lidl, new electric car specialist! In France, the brand has focused on charging in its car parks. The brand has just opened several “e-stations” with ultra-fast charging points (which will offer up to 360 kW) at aggressive prices (40 cents per kWh).
At home, in Germany, the brand is squarely interested in the entire ecosystem of the electric vehicle. After having tried the sale of a connected vehicle, Lidl will thus offer from mid-December accessories linked to recharging. There is for example a Type 2 cable at only 129 €. And that’s not all. In the catalog, we also spotted Wallbox-type terminals.

These are wall boxes that can be installed outdoors. Two versions are offered. The entry-level (16A current) recharges up to 3.7 kW with a 230 V single-phase supply or 11 kW with a 400 V three-phase supply. The higher model (32 A current) announces up to 7.4 kW in 230 V power supply and 22 kW in 400 V power supply. The box incorporates a small color screen and is associated with a Type 2 cable 5 meters long.
And again, true to form, Lidl hits hard on price. Its 11 kW Wallbox terminal costs €333, which is half the average price for this type of accessory. The 22 kW version is €499. Even though these prices don’t take installation into account, it’s hot.
