Thanks to a YouTube video, we finally got a glimpse of the Tesla Cybertruck chassis. The electric pickup is gearing up for production at Gigafactory Texas.
With the arrival in 2023 of the Cybetruck, Tesla launched the manufacture of the electric pick-up. With one and a half million pre-orders, the firm is preparing for an intense pace on the production lines.
Elon Musk’s goal was to start construction of the first copies at the end of 2022. If we are to believe the images of the manufacturer’s Texas factory, it is on the right track.
It was on Kim Java’s YouTube channel that we saw a first glimpse of the Cybertruck in production. More specifically, it is the chassis of the electric pick-up, in full preparation at the factory.
The first chassis of the model had arrived at the factory shortly after the summer. It is in another Gigafactory that Tesla makes them, thanks to special hydraulic presses.
This imposing piece seems to be made of metal and aluminum, which would limit the weight of the model. The objective is obviously to stay under 3.5 tonnes, which in many cases requires you to have a heavy goods vehicle license.
