Even environmentalists remain cautious on this subject
The cost of the operation is estimated at 11 million euros. This for uncertain gains. So much so that even the environmental opposition group (MECS) wants to be cautious. One of its representatives, Mélissa Camara, points out “a hypothetical result”.
It should be remembered that the Lille metropolitan area’s positive toll project is to encourage motorists to use certain roads less during rush hour. This would concern for the moment the A1 (Paris-Lille) and the A23 (Valenciennes-Paris).
