ChatGPT continues to amaze with its capabilities in almost every area. A new application uses this AI to create playlists from a sentence or just a few words.
OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot has not finished making headlines. It is not only Microsoft that intends to integrate it into its software. More and more developers are discovering new ways to use this AI to offer new features. Launched this week, the PlaylistAI application allows you to generate music playlists by entering a few words.
PlaylistAI leverages the power of ChatGPT to create playlists in Spotify and Apple Music. Just describe the kind of music you are looking for, for example ” popular artists in the 1990s “. The app then queries ChatGPT for a list of artists, which you can edit before confirming. PlaylistAI then fetches songs from these artists, generates a playlist and adds it to your Spotify or Apple Music account.

Create playlists from a concert poster or a TikTok
Originally, the application was called LineupSupply and offered to scan concert posters in order to automatically recognize the names of artists and create playlists. This feature is still present, but the inclusion of ChatGPT added much more useful functionality to the point where the developer decided to simply rename the app. The application can also generate playlists from a TikTok or your history on Spotify or Apple Music.
Thanks to the exceptional way in which ChatGPT handles natural language, the application accepts all types of requests, even the most vague. Generate a playlist that matches a particular era or genre, or request a particular vibe, like “ walk in the French countryside » or « playing board games on a rainy day ».
Currently, PlaylistAI is only available on iPhone.
