Tesla greatly reduces the price of the Model 3. The “basic” version even benefits from the ecological bonus. It is now displayed at 39,990 €.
Friday the 13th can bring luck to those who wish to buy a Model 3. Indeed, today we discover new prices for the Tesla sedan, which are down sharply!
And what a drop. Now, the basic Model 3 version, with a range of 491 km, is displayed from €44,990. For a few months, it was at €53,490. It is recalled that Tesla had repeatedly increased the prices of the 3 during 2022, due in particular to a surge in the costs of materials. The price of €44,990 was also the one in effect in mid-January 2022.
So we came back to that level all of a sudden. Tesla explains that it was able to make the 3 more accessible thanks to a stabilization of the inflation of certain costs and thanks to new economies of scale, generated by production volumes.
The good news is that with this price of €44,990, the Model 3 is back in the bonus zone. This one therefore benefits from the aid of 5,000 €. Until December 31, the base model at €53,490 had a bonus of €2,000. Bonus which had since been nil, since only vehicles under €47,000 have been assisted since January 1, 2023.
So on December 31, including bonuses, the Model 3 was at €51,490. Then €53,490… and since today €39,990! That’s €13,500 won in one night!
As always, those who ordered just before may have it wrong. But this price drop is half a surprise. The promotions applied in recent weeks to vehicles in stock had alerted some of our readers. Moreover, prices had already fallen in the Chinese market.
The other variants also become cheaper. The Grande Autonomie, with 602 km of autonomy, goes from 62,490 to 52,990 €, i.e. 9,500 € less. And for the Performance, the new price is €59,990, compared to €66,490 previously. These versions have no bonus.
