Lucid Motors seems to have saved the furniture for the year 2022. Its lowered objectives have finally been exceeded.
Initially, Lucid Motors hoped to build 20,000 cars in 2022. Obviously, that was just the Air electric sedan, its only model at the moment.
But between shortages and inflation, Lucid faced the same struggles as other automakers. Thus, the firm had revised its objectives downward twice, going down to a number of between 6,000 and 7,000 cars.
When taking stock of its year 2022, the manufacturer can consider itself lucky. Indeed, with 7,180 vehicles produced in 2022, it exceeded its updated target thanks to a good end to the year.
Of the 7,180 vehicles that the brand has left the factory, 3,493 date from the last quarter of 2022. Deliveries, at the same time, amounted to 1,932 units.
From now on, the American-Saudi manufacturer must present its financial results for the year 2022. This will take place next month, on February 22 precisely. We can then find out how many electric cars he has managed to deliver over the past year.
The month of December was intense on the side of the Lucid Motors factory, but also for the employees responsible for validating pre-orders. Indeed, some customers have received nearly 15 calls to launch the production of their electric car.
