This Friday, January 13, in the morning, the gendarmes of Saint-Aubin-de-Blaye (Gironde) arrested a motorist in great excess of speed. However, the latter was supposed to lead by example…
Placed on the edge of departmental 23 in the town of Giveacthe gendarmes were controlling the speed of motorists when their radar went crazy.
And for good reason, on this road limited to 80 km/h, a driver drove past them at 137 km/h! Logically, the soldiers set off in pursuit and caught up with him a few kilometers away.
During the check, the police quickly discovered that the driver in question is a driving instructor. Luckily, the latter was not in the middle of a driving lesson, but that surely did not give him the right to break the Highway Code in this way.
Following this excessive speeding, the instructor’s driving license has been subject to administrative detention. His car was immobilized and then impounded.
At any rate, his career in learning to drive is in danger of taking a hit. A driving instructor without a license is a bit like a gluten-allergic baker.
