Here is a conductor who is not about to win the Nobel Prize. A few days ago, in Detroit, law enforcement became acquainted with a contender for the title of the dumbest criminal of the year.
After a rather drunken evening, this 30-year-old driver broke down on the side of the road. Despite the presence of a young woman at his side, this was not the famous “breakdown blow”, but a real lack of fuel.
Anyway, the little genius did not have the good sense to contact his insurance or simply a friend to pick him up. No, instead he decided to call law enforcement for help.
A strange choice given the circumstances surrounding him. Especially since, by telephone, he was particularly insistent with the police. Because yes, at the start of the call, the officer on the phone did not want to send a patrol for a simple lack of gas.
Faced with this refusal, the driver stopped on the edge of the road opted for a lie. According to him, he had just been shot by a man armed with an AK-47.
If in doubt, the Michigan State police went to the scene.

Once there, officers quickly realized that no shots had been fired. Moreover, the young man was completely drunk and was driving without a license following his suspension.
Finally, the icing on the cake, he was already the subject of an arrest warrant. As saying that calling the police was really, really the wrong choice.
