The Grand Tour: they massacre the French automobile!

The Grand Tour, the British show that brings together the former Top Gear UK, returns on December 17 with a special episode on the French automobile called “Carnage à trois”. What to announce the color!

Top Gear UK alumni Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond return for their The Grand Tour car show. The three friends are already giving us an appointment on the Amazon Prime streaming platform from December 17 for what is already shaping up to be an incredible episode.

French cars abused by the English trio

Called “Carnage à trois”, this special episode focuses on the French automobile. The trio pays tribute to our vehicles in their own way: destruction, gliding, improbable races, roadtrips and crazy challenges… Thus, the enticing trailer offers us some extracts from Clarkson discovering the joys of the Citroën SM, from a niche “to Parisienne ”from Hammond in a Renault Scénic 1, or of a Citroën 2CV Charleston and dropped into the sky from a helicopter. A rallycross race between French bombinettes is also on the program, as we can see Renault Mégane RS and Clio RS or Peugeot 206 and 306 competing on the track in pain. The Peugeot 205 dashboard torn off by James May still remembers it …

During the video, we also witness the sad fate of a Citroën C3 Pluriel, catapulted into the air, or a strange flying machine called Helica. We also recognize pell-mell an interior of Renault Avantime, a Citroën Ami 6, a Berlingo (which ends up in a barrel in a cliff), a Peugeot 407 or even a Panhard 24. A totally crazy episode therefore, but which feels good afterwards a few half-hearted episodes that had disappointed fans a bit because of the lack of cars.
