With his pick-up, this motorist was transporting a long zodiac on a trailer. So far nothing exceptional, but at the time of the launch, things did not go as planned at all.
It is always said that it is not the size that matters, but in transporting a boat, the size of the trailer plays a huge role. Unfortunately here, the latter was not long enough and if it was not a problem during the trip, getting into the water turned out to be much more complicated.
Indeed, as soon as he arrived in the hold of the port, the zodiac’s engine began to rub violently against the ground. With the inclination of the slope, the propellers of the latter therefore came to scrape the ground while the driver of the pick-up continued his reverse as if nothing had happened or almost.
Eventually, the boat may well have ended up in the water without taking the trailer with itbut he may have a hard time moving forward…
The noises heard during this launch really don’t bode well for the poor zodiac. The latter is well abused and the next time, its owner will consider installing it on a more suitable trailer.
