Small and inexpensive, the Chinese city car Wuling Bingo also multiplies the accessories to become more versatile. Accessories that even make it a kind of mini motorhome.
Larger than the Hongguang Mini EV from the same manufacturer, the Wuling Bingo falls into a category that is currently not very popular in China. But with its tight price (expected under 100,000 RMB – €13,500 – for the most expensive model), it hopes to cast a wide net. Its target is essentially urban, but it does not intend to play only the role of second car in the household. She wants to assert herself as an all-rounder with a family vocation.
Its interior is therefore not necessarily the stripped-down type and its presentation is rather flattering. At least on the high-end version presented on the official pictures. But beyond the appearance, it is the accessories offered that make this Bingo a model apart on the market. Multiple accessories allow you to take advantage of a trunk volume that seems substantial. And most seem designed to make the city car a perfect weekend companion: removable boxes, tray for storing dishes, hooks integrated into the boot opening for hanging accessories, even a custom-made inflatable mattress.
Remember that this car is 3950 mm long and 1708 mm wide, and that its largest battery of 31.9 kWh gives it a range of 333 km (CLTC cycle). The basic version with 17.3 kWh is content with 203 km.
