This Wednesday, March 1, at the Vélodrome de Marseille, FC Annecy achieved the feat of coming to win in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France. However, the residents of Annecy quickly came back down to earth when they returned by Flixbus.
Penultimate Ligue 2 budget, the Annecy club has just achieved a real feat in the Coupe de France. Opposed to Marseille Olympicsthe people of Annecy came to win in a burning Velodrome.
However, the residents of the second division did not tremble. Led to the score after only 30 minutes of play, the players of Laurent Guyot were not impressed and eventually won on penalties.
The whistles then sounded throughout the stadium, but that did not taint the celebration of the FC Annecy players, excited following this historic qualification. The party was therefore very beautiful in the locker room and yet the return was not of the same ilk.

As we wrote above, FC Annecy has a very limited budget after miraculously rising to Ligue 2 last season.
It was therefore not to be expected to see the Upper Savoyard club disembarking by private jet, but even the team bus was not deployed. The victorious players therefore had to wait for the arrival of a Flixbus bound for the Pays de Savoie to return home after this legendary match.
It definitely calms.
