The RZ is the first Lexus model designed on a basis dedicated to electric motorization. Its starting price is €75,500.
Unveiled in April 2022, the RZ450e is now integrated into the Lexus catalog. This large SUV is the brand’s first electric model designed on a platform dedicated to this type of engine, the e-TNGA. The RZ is thus the technical cousin of the Toyota bZ4X.
There are two motors, one on each axle, giving four-wheel drive: 150 kW (204 hp) at the front and 80 kW (109 hp) at the rear. The maximum cumulative power is 230 kW, or 313 hp.
The battery has a gross capacity of 71.4 kWh. The model with 18-inch rims has a combined WLTP range of 435 km. It’s 404 km with 20 inches. The RZ is equipped with an 11 kW on-board charger. In DC current, the maximum charging power is 150 kW.
