Notoriety has no limits thanks to the internet. Recently, an American youtuber experienced this. Thanks to his subscribers and the Reddit platform, he was able to find his minivan less than 24 hours after his flight.
On February 28, at The Angelsthe famous American youtuber and streamer Ludwig Ahgren had his minivan stolen from his warehouse. The criminals took advantage of a power cut to break in without triggering the surveillance systems.
Only here, leaving with this Subaru Sambar, bought a few months ago for only 7000 euros, the thieves were far from suspecting that its owner’s subscribers would also be effective.
Indeed, through his videos, Ludwig has repeatedly shown his minivan. His most faithful spectators therefore had no trouble recognizing him, a few hours later, still in Los Angeles.

It all started when a first subscriber spotted the van on the streets of Los Angeles. He threw himself on the driver, ordering him to leave the vehicle. The latter then offered him a deal: $10,000 against the van. But very quickly, the offer expired and the alleged thief made his way behind the wheel of the Subaru Sambar.
He managed to vanish for a few hours, before being found again in front of a massage institute thanks to multiple posts on Reddit.
The thief, or at least the driver of the van, was inside the living room when the police arrived on the scene. He was finally able to flee on foot, leaving the van in the hands of the police. The latter then returned it to its owner, happy and proud of his community.
