With a red Corvette C5, it’s hard to go unnoticed. And yet, the driver of this Honda Pilot did not see it when reversing…
Stopped by the side of the road, sitting in his Corvette C5the owner of this American sports car saw a Honda Pilot back up on him. The white SUV obviously didn’t notice the Corvette behind him when backing up.
It then turned into a spectacular and frightening scene. Luckily, the owner of the Chevrolet was not injured in the incident and it is almost a miracle. As he explained in his video, within an instant he saw the rear wheel of the SUV crash into his windshield. He then had the reflex to jump on the passenger seat and then get out of his car, unharmed.
The first instinct of the motorist victim of this accident was immediately to go and see the state of the culprit. At the wheel of the Honda Pilot was an elderly man who mistook the Corvette for the pavement.
Slightly hurt and confused, it then took him a few minutes to understand what had just happened. However, we should not look for where this problem comes from concerning his perception of space on the road, his driving license had already been suspended a few months earlier and he didn’t seem aware.
He will therefore have to pay for the repairs to the Corvette and the latter are expected to be extremely expensive.
