Tesla unveils its Cyberquad, an electric quad for children with a futuristic look and displayed at $ 1,900, on sale only in the United States.
Christmas is approaching, and many of us are still looking for gift ideas for our loved ones. If the novelty that we are talking about today could inspire you, know that it will unfortunately not be sold in Europe, at least not immediately. But it is still worth taking an interest in it, especially since it comes from Tesla, which we know, never does anything like everyone else. No new model for this time, while the range has just been enriched with a Model Y whose deliveries have just started on the Old Continent. No, this time it’s a smaller vehicle, aimed at children. Baptized Cyberquad, this one has just been unveiled, while orders have opened in stride.
Adopting a futuristic style to say the least, inspired by the Tesla Cybertruck, the pick-up unveiled two years ago already, this small electric quad has a range of 25 kilometers, for a charge requiring five hours on a standard outlet. The top speed is displayed at 16 km / h, but can nevertheless be limited to 8 km / h if the parents wish, for the youngest children in particular. Granted, it’s not a lot, but it’s already more than most electric carts, often limited to 5 km / h. Note that the small quad also has a rear disc brakes as well as adjustable suspensions. Just that.
A nice present
Of course, you can imagine that this cute toy comes at a price: 1 900 $, or around € 1,680. A high amount, which does not seem to have deterred customers, since the quad is already out of stock. Unfortunately, it will not be sold in Europe at this time, since it is reserved for the American market.
