The second-generation Hyundai Kona will begin marketing in June 2023, but is already revealing its range and prices. For the moment, only the hybrid is available, from €33,400.
A few weeks ago, we presented the new Hyundai Kona in detail. Partly unveiled in December 2022, the second-generation SUV will be marketed in June 2023 with us. Hyundai is finally getting ahead and already revealing part of its range and prices to us, for the simple hybrid marketed initially.
The Korean SUV is indeed multi-energy, with a dual electric proposal (218 hp and 65.4 kWh battery or 156 hp and 48.4 kWh battery), combustion (not sold in France) and a simple hybrid engine 141 hp shared with cousin Kia Niro. It is the latter which is offered in France at launch (before the summer), while the electric will arrive at the start of the school year in September.
Less than €34,000 for entry-level
Hyundai announced to us during the presentation a price around 34,000 € for the hybrid, and had seen a bit off. Finally, the new Kona starts at € 33,400 at the entry level Intuitive, already relatively well equipped: Front and rear parking assistance and reversing camera, active assistance for highway driving and lane keeping, dual-zone automatic air conditioning , Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, bi-LED headlights and LED lights, intelligent high beam, autonomous emergency braking, adjustable regenerative braking, 16″ alloy wheels, intelligent adaptive cruise control, hands-free access and keyless start , integrated navigation, multimedia system with 12.3″ color touch screen.
Above, the Creative finish is displayed at €35,750, and notably adds the rain sensor, the induction smartphone charger, the 12.3-inch digital counters, 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, l ambient LED lighting, blind spot monitoring, heated steering wheel and front seats, dark-tinted rear windows and leather-fabric upholstery.
The top of the range below 40,000 €
At the top of the range, the Executive and N Line Executive finishes are respectively displayed at €38,900 and €39,900. The Executive also offers a 360-degree camera, digital key (smartphone access) and key-based parking, leather upholstery, hands-free tailgate, advanced LED lights with light strip, heated rear seats, the electric and ventilated front seats or the Bose audio system. The N Line Executive finish adds styling elements: specific shields, black roof lining, twin exhaust outlets, decorative inserts and leather and alcantara upholstery, aluminum pedals, black mirror caps and body-colour fenders, specific 18-inch alloy wheels .

The options are few: metallic paint (€550), or an Atlas White tint (€200), contrasting Abyss Black roof and mirrors (€700 on N Line Executive) and electric sunroof (€800). € on Executive and N Line Executive).
