It is a funny adventure that this Montpellier resident experienced on Friday March 24th. As he was driving home, his car was stolen by a homeless person.
Friday, March 24, it is around 11:30 a.m. when this motorist returns home. In order to open his garage, he gets out of his car for a few seconds, leaving the keys in the ignition.
But very quickly, he sees his vehicle getting lost. It’s not the fault of a badly applied handbrake, but that of a malicious man.
The latter takes advantage of the short absence of the driver to jump in his place and get away with his car. Luckily, the victim’s neighbor saw it all! He then suggests that he get into the car to chase the villain.
Neither one nor two, here they are launched in pursuit of the thief in Starsky and Hutch mode in the streets of Montpellier!
After a few seconds, they manage to catch up with the thief. The latter tries to make the trunk on foot after having planted the car against another vehicle at a red light.
Finally, the homeless fugitive is subdued and then handed over to the police. But the latter denies the facts as a whole, explaining that he just bought the car for 50 euros.
Finally, the car hit at a red light was more than stamped. Totally unusable, it is good for breakage. As for its occupants, they escaped unscathed, fortunately.
