Taiwanese manufacturer BenQ has just launched a new gaming projector. The TK700STi is heralded as the first short throw projector capable of displaying 4K at 60 hertz and equipped with HDR, with a response time of just 16 milliseconds.
Gamers who want to transform a Wall of their living room in Ultra High Definition gaming screen will be able to have a blast. BenQ has just announced a new video projector 4K (3.840 x 2.160 pixels) with a refresh rate of 60 hertz, intended primarily for video games. According to the manufacturer, the response time of 16.67 milliseconds of the TK700STi is the lowest in the world for this definition.
For fast games where responsiveness is crucial, it is possible to switch to Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) at 240 hertz to reduce the response time to just 4 milliseconds. The device of 3,000 lumens short throw can project an image of 100 inches (2.54 meters) while being placed 2 meters from the screen, with a maximum diagonal of 200 inches (5.08 meters).

An HDR10 compatible projector
The TK700STi is compatible with HDR10 and HLG technologies, offers a level of contrast of 10,000: 1, and supports 96% of the color Rec. 709. Its dual connectivity HDMI 2.0b allows you to connect the latest consoles, such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, as well as a PC or other device with an HDMI output. The projector is equipped withAndroid TV, and therefore offers all the functions of a connected television.
BenQ offers presets for picture and sound, including modes specially designed for role games (RPG), first person shooters (FPS) and sports (SPG). This new gaming projector is available for pre-order on the BenQ website at a price of 1,299 euros.
