Lewis Hamilton (1er) : 9/10 -> The Briton managed to survive in this chaotic Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver thought he would lose everything after the Mick Schumacher incident and the red flag. But he finally came back to deprive Max Verstappen of any chance of scoring extra points in the championship. The Dutchman did not hear it that way and intervened on numerous occasions. As a result, the Briton finished his race with a partially broken front wing, but in the lead. He therefore joined Verstappen on equal points just before the last round of the championship in Abu Dhabi.
Max Verstappen (3rd to 2nd) : 4/10 -> The pressure of the championship is starting to be felt for the Red Bull driver. While he seemed to be the best performer on the track, the leader of the classification made many mistakes which cost him a potential victory this weekend. First of all in qualifying, Max Verstappen is the author of a masterful lap, until the last corner, where he does too much and hits the wall. As a result, he started from 3rd position on the starting grid and was forced to do more to win the race on a track where it was difficult to overtake. Twice he cut corners and came out to attack or defend on Lewis Hamilton. He ends up being penalized 5 seconds, then 10 seconds. In short, the Dutchman could have extended his lead in the championship, but by wanting to do too much he ends up causing the opposite.
Valtteri Bottas (2nd to 3rd): 7/10 -> Like his teammate, the Finn was trapped with the irruption of the two red flags. We also know the difficulty of Valtteri Bottas to start during the starts, which did not benefit him. The Mercedes driver was still able to take advantage of the racing pace of his Mercedes to climb back into the peloton and thus obtain a 3rd place. This allows Mercedes to take a comfortable lead in the constructors’ championship, on the eve of the grand final.
Esteban Ocon (9th to 4th): 8/10 -> Once again, the Frenchman is in the right place at the right time. As in Hungary, the Alpine rider sneaked up to pole position during the second restart of the race. But suffering from the lack of performance of his car, he was unable to maintain his position, falling to 4th position. He thus lost the podium a tenth of a second behind Valtteri Bottas.
Daniel Ricciardo (11th to 5th): 7/10 -> Like many other riders, the Australian remained transparent during this race, not least because of the animation at the front of the race. Daniel Ricciardo still achieves a beautiful Grand Prix by surviving just like Esteban Ocon. He ended up gaining 6 positions. But unfortunately that is not enough to join Ferrari in 3rd place in the constructors’ championship.
Pierre Gasly (6e) : 7/10 -> Like Qatar, Pierre Gasly suffered in the race. Despite a good pace in qualifying, the Frenchman was unable to keep up with his competitors and take advantage of the chaos looming in front of him. He survived all the same and obtained a nice 6th place.
Charles Leclerc (4th to 7th): 5/10 -> Despite a superb qualification, the Monegasque was unlucky. Packed on all sides, it was the victim of the restarting races. He survived against all odds with his Ferrari and gleaned a top 10, allowing the Scuderia to secure 3rd place in the championship.
Carlos Sainz (15th to 8th): 6/10 -> The Spaniard is the victim of his own mistake in qualifying. He took off from 15th place on the starting grid and somehow survived in this tumultuous Grand Prix. He ends up hooking his teammate at the end of the race and never leaves him. He finished in a good 8th place and got good points, like his teammate.
Antonio Giovinazzi (10th to 9th): 8/10 -> The Italian was quick throughout the weekend. Especially in qualifying, the future Formula E driver grabbed a nice 10th place, which allows him to be well positioned and to take advantage of every opportunity in the race to climb into the top 10. In the end, he is among the survivors and acquired a nice 9th position.
Lando Norris (7th to 10th): 4/10 -> The Briton is not recovering from the Russian Grand Prix. At the end of the season, Lando Norris is losing its splendor along with his car. He fails to operate his McLaren to compete with Ferraris in pure performance. He was also a victim of racing incidents, which caused him to lose many valuable positions. Result, the native of Bristol finishes at the edge of the top 10 and catches a single small point.
Lance Stroll (18e à 11e) : 6/10 -> Frustration continues and builds up in the Aston Martin clan. Lance Stroll no longer manages to make his car perform well, he is even excluded from Q1 in qualifying. However, Sunday smiled at him. The Canadian is partly had with the first flag. But he recovered by staying clean and regular with his hard tires, which took him to the gates of the top 10.
Nicholas Latifi (16th to 12th): 6/10 -> The Canadian has also remained very discreet in this Grand Prix. Very little highlighted in the image, Nicholas Latifi simply raced through the various incidents. He took advantage of the retirements in front of him to glean a nice 12th place at the finish.
Fernando Alonso (13e) : 3/10 -> After a superb Grand Prix in Qatar, the Spaniard completely missed out on this weekend. The Asturian bull has never managed to get into his teammate’s rhythm. First eliminated in Q2, he then made an error in the race, which penalized him for the rest. He does not manage to come back up and take advantage of the withdrawals in front of him. He maintains his 13th place at the finish.
Yuki Tsunoda (8e à 14e): 4/10-> Unleashed on the unprecedented tracks of this 2021 season, Yuki Tsunoda failed to remain consistent until the end of the weekend. Author of a very good qualifying, the Japanese was surprised in the race. He made a particular error in judgment when he tried to attack Sebastian Vettel. As a result, he ended up in the wall and lost his front wing. He was forced to go through the pits and lost all his advantage, to finish penultimate in this race.
Kimi Raikkonen (12e à 15e) : 3/10 -> The Finn arrives in Jeddah without any preparation. He concedes a lack of pace compared to his teammate throughout the weekend. All the more so, as his race was marred by a collision with Sebastian Vettel. Kimi Raikkonen has no choice but to go through the pits to repair the damage and finish dead last.
Sebastian Vettel (17th at DNF): 4/10 -> The German driver – like his teammate – suffered from the poor performance of his Aston Martin. He catches up with the race and even manages to climb back into the top 10, until Yuki Tsunoda comes to attack him. The quadruple world champion was struck, spun around and fell considerably behind. Secondly, it’s Kimi Raikkonen’s turn to tackle the latter. The two cars collided, but the Aston Martin suffered too much damage. Sebastian Vettel is forced to retire. In short, the German driver has done everything to build a great race. But he was hit from all sides and finally gave up.

The Red Bull rider therefore remained powerless by being squeezed on all sides, to end up hitting the wall and giving up. George Russell (14e à DNF) : 5/10 -> Like his teammate, George Russell was transparent in this Grand Prix. The only time we could see the Englishman was when Nikita Mazepin hit him head-on from behind. We therefore do not remember much of Jeddah for the future Mercedes driver.
Mick Schumacher (19th at DNF): 2/10 -> The German is the first driver to drop out. He only survived 10 laps before going to the fault, in the same place as Charles Leclerc during free practice 1.
Nikita Mazepin (20e à DNF) : 4/10 -> Like George Russell or Sergio Pérez, Nikita Mazepin found himself trapped in the peloton during the second restart of the race. An incident occurred in front of him and the Russian could not anticipate the braking. He hits the back of the Williams and gives up.
