Agilauto, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance, has just signed an agreement with Fisker to offer its Ocean to its employees.
It’s been a while since we heard about it, and now it is about to make its arrival on our roads. This is the new Fisker Ocean, a 100% electric SUV officially unveiled as a teaser in March 2019, just days after its great rival, the Tesla Model Y. First sold in the United States, its home market, the newborn of the American firm will indeed be launched in Europe, and in particular in France. However, we should not expect to see it land immediately in the concessions, while the network is currently non-existent with us. On the other hand, certain motorists will have the chance to be able to take the wheel, within the framework of an agreement concluded between Agilauto and Fisker. Indeed, the company specializing in auto sales and financing, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance, has just signed a partnership with the firm, in order to market the SUV in our territory.
Employees of Crédit Agricole, as well as some clients of the group’s private bank, as announced in a press release published by Agilauto. ” As part of this memorandum of understanding, Agilauto, a brand specializing in automotive sales and financing from CA Consumer Finance in France, will be able to purchase Fisker Ocean SUVs intended for eligible employees and certain customers of the Group’s private bank. Delivery is scheduled from January 2023 “. For his part, Henrik Fisker, CEO of Fisker welcomes this collaboration, and affirms that “ we salute the commitment shown by Credit Agricole Consumer Finance to offer its employees better access to zero-emission mobility […] 60% of new vehicle sales in Europe are made through business-to-business transactions and we are ready to partner with forward-thinking companies like CA Consumer Finance as the market moves more and more towards electrification “. For now, no information as to the number of copies that will be available has been specified.
Underside of ID.4
Second model marketed, after the Fisker Karma Launched in 2011, the Ocean is already making a name for itself, while its official revelation to the general public and to the press dates back to January 2020, on the occasion of CES in Las Vegas. Direct rival of the Tesla Model Y, for a price however lower, this newcomer in the range therefore embeds a 100% electric motor, the power of which varies according to the version, while the SUV is available in two or four-wheel drive. This would then be based on the MEB platform developed by Volkswagen and already well known, since it is fitted to the new ID.3 and ID.4. It would then logically take up certain technical characteristics, starting with the 77 kWh battery, which would then allow it to travel about 480 kilometers in a single charge. No launch date for French customers has yet been announced, but we are already talking about a price of $ 37,499, or around € 33,500 with us. A price which is not yet final, and which could vary according to the equipment and the ecological bonus.
