Marketed in Europe at the start of 2021, the MG HS plug-in hybrid SUV is benefiting from a slight restyling before the summer. A primarily cosmetic operation.
The restyling of the MG HS comes barely two years after its launch. An accelerated career due to the fact that the HS is marketed in China in 2018. This development which arrives in Europe is also known in China since 2021 under the name of MG Pilot. Plug-in hybrid in France
On some markets, the MG HS is offered with a 162 bhp 1.5 Turbo petrol engine, with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. In France, malus obliges, only the plug-in hybrid eHS should continue to constitute the offer. We should find without change the set consisting of the 1.5 Turbo and an electric motor developing 190 kW / 258 hp, plus a 16.6 kWh battery. Knowing that in China the same model develops 214 kW / 290 hp. Autonomy in electric mode should therefore remain unchanged at 52 km (WLTP).
For the moment, the details of the prices, the range and the staffing in France have not been communicated.
