If it is not even launched yet, the Tesla Cybertruck is already seducing, while the brand has recorded more than a million orders.
If Tesla was in the red a few years ago, the Californian firm has recovered and is now one of the most prominent car manufacturers, also having a huge community of fans around the world. Ultra-valued on the stock market and chaining successes with a Model 3 which sells like hot cakes, the firm of Elon Musk enjoys a great popularity, which we owe in particular to its electric and high-tech models which speak to the new generation. But if it is understandable that the sedan and the Model Y are very popular with customers, another more unusual creation of the brand is also a success, more unexpected. This is the Tesla Cybertruck, unveiled at the end of 2019.
Bulk orders
As soon as it was revealed, more than 250,000 units had in fact been reserved in just five days. A real madness, and a craze that could have died down very quickly. But it would seem that this is not the case, since according to a group of enthusiasts of the brand, there are currently no less than a million pre-orders that have been made. A totally incredible figure, especially sinceElon Musk had announced that the first deliveries would not take place until the end of next year. In total, these reservations would represent no less than 72 billion euros in turnover, once the vehicles have been paid for and handed over to customers.
As a reminder, only € 100 was requested by Tesla to pre-order its copy, fully refundable in the event of cancellation. But a big unknown remains: will it be exported in Europe ? For now, Elon Musk has not given an answer to this question.
