The 2021 Formula 1 world champion was greeted with a standing ovation and hundreds of smoke bombs.
The season of honors is not over for Max Verstappen. While waiting to officially receive the trophy of world champion of the pilots, this Thursday, at the gala of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), the Dutch driver has returned to the headquarters of the Red Bull team. The images shared by the team speak for themselves.

Arrived in the new town of Milton-Keynes driving a Honda NSX orange (a nod to his engine manufacturer and his nationality), the Dutchman hugged Christian Horner, the boss of the team. Then he gave a hug to Adrian Newey, the technical “guru” of Red Bull. Finally, Max Verstappen took part in a photo shoot with the mechanics and members of the Austro-British team.
The plant should also expand in the coming months with the arrival of Honda equipment and engineers responsible for integrating the nouvelle division Red Bull Powertrains. Starting next year, the team will manufacture its own turbo hybrid V6s for itself and the satellite team Alpha Tauri.
