Flashed at 168 km / h instead of 110, this Santa Claus can say goodbye to his license for the holidays

Last Saturday 11 December, the gendarmes of La Manche arrested a motorcyclist in great excess of speed. The icing on the cake, this driver was dressed as Santa Claus.

Santa was a little early this Saturday, December 11 near Huberville, in the English Channel. And at this rate, he wasn’t going to be late for Christmas Eve.

But that was before crossing the road of motorized peloton of Valognes. Because yes, the offender had given himself some liberties on the highway by driving at 168 km / h instead of the 110 normally authorized.

Arrested by the police, he explains to them that he is returning from a Christmas-themed biker parade. This gathering organized at Cherbourg-en-Cotentin was intended to provide gifts to hospitalized children. If the gesture is beautiful, that does not justify driving so fast.

A little too much of a hurry the 🎅! Last Saturday, it was checked in 🏍 at 168 km / h instead of the 110 authorized on the RN 13. The #gendarmes PMO of #Valognes have withdrawn his license 😓. But rest assured, he won’t need it to lead his reins on the evening of #Christmas 🎁 pic.twitter.com/zXrNFYTFmY

No more permits

Results, the gendarmes withdrew his driving license on the spot. And while law enforcement has been keen to reassure children that it will not be needed for the distribution of gifts, hopefully it will not be taken care of this year.

When we see how mister drives, it’s best to let someone else do it.
