YZ250F version 2024
The new-generation YZ250F is cut out to win, and it’s its track record in Motocross Grand Prix and US Supercross that says it! For 2024, Yamaha has tweaked its design, with an aluminum frame inspired by the YZ450F, a more compact bodywork, and improved tuning features via the Power Tuner app. The result: a lighter, faster and easier to ride motorcycle.
The aluminum frame has been reworked to improve handling and allow for snappier changes of direction. The new thinner and lighter steering column has helped to reduce the weight of the bike.
The bodywork has also been revised, giving the YZ250F a more narrow and sleek silhouette. The new flat seat allows the rider to move easily and the compact front fender helps cool the radiators. With subtle improvements to ergonomics, the 2024 YZ250F also gains comfort for the rider who adopts a more natural position.
The KYB suspensions, reputed to be among the best, have been optimized for this new frame. The damping settings have been improved for better shock absorption and increased traction. The two-stage traction control system and the departure control system have also been improved.
The YZ250F’s engine has also been tweaked. With a new low-friction cam chain, efficient airflow management and updated mapping, the bike delivers increased mid-range and high-rpm performance. The new ECU enables lightning-fast trackside tuning using the Power Tuner app, which also offers a “quick-tune” option for an intuitive experience.
As for the YZ450F, it is now Yamaha’s lightest, thinnest and fastest 450cc. It has been completely redesigned for 2023, offering power, linearity and maneuverability. To celebrate 50 years of the YZ, Yamaha is offering a special edition, with white trim, purple seat and 90s-inspired graphics.
The 2-stroke YZ250, legendary since its first victory in 1973, remains the reference machine for motocross enthusiasts. Its power and handling make it a favorite among riders. Yamaha also offers a special 50th anniversary edition, with white bodywork, retro graphics and black rims.
The range of TT-R and PW children’s motorcycles offers the perfect introduction to the world of off-roading. Easy to use, reliable and equipped with 4-stroke engines, these motorcycles offer a fun and safe riding experience for the youngest.
Rounding out the range, Yamaha offers a selection of high-quality off-road gear, with jerseys, pants, gloves, and more. Genuine Yamaha Accessories are designed to deliver the best performance and premium quality.
With these new special editions and improvements to existing models, Yamaha celebrates 50 years of victories and innovations in the world of motocross. The new YZ250F, YZ450F, YZ250, YZ125, as well as the TT-R and PW children’s models, will be available from October 2023. Get ready to join the YZ legend!
