Following the evolution of the price of electricity which climbs in Europe, Tesla raises the prices of the kWh on its Supercharger terminals. In France, it goes from 37 to 40 euro cents.
The price of electricity is rising sharply in Europe now, and it is not about to stop. The government has also planned to limit the increase to 4% for individuals in 2022. Tesla is following suit, quietly increasing the price of its electricity on its superchargers.
BREAKING:
Supercharger price increase in Europe.
Germany: 0.40€ -> 0.45€
France: 0.37 € -> 0.40 €
Spain: 0.29€ -> 0.36€I don’t know how the prices changed in the rest of Europe pic.twitter.com/2ST5mbRlUB

Spotted by a computer student and Tesla fan, the increase was the subject of a supporting photo tweet. We can see that at least three European countries are concerned: Germany, France and Spain. The increase in cost per kWh is a few cents each time. For France, the price therefore goes from € 0.37 to € 0.40, an increase of 3 cents. On a full “full” of electricity, ie around 60 kWh, the additional cost is therefore almost 2 euros.
Higher increase in other countries
The price increase is more significant in other countries such as Germany, where the cost rises by 5 cents per kWh, or Spain where it goes from 0.29 to 0.36 € (+ 7 cents). In the Netherlands, the price drops to € 0.32 instead of € 0.24, or from 57-58 cents to 64-69 cents for electric vehicles of other brands charging on Tesla terminals (experiment in progress).
