The Little Car Company has teamed up with Bentley to release a perfect replica of the 1929 Blower with an electric motor.
Specializing in the manufacture of replicas for children, the English company The Little Car Company has just entered into a partnership with Bentley to release the brand’s first electric, or almost: a barely reduced replica of the impressive Blower of the 1920s, homologated for the road !
This is the real difference with the previous creations, which were aimed above all at the little ones. Because here, the Bentley Blower reduced to 85% is well authorized to tread the roads, in the category of L7e quadricycles. 3.7m long and 1.5m wide, this electric car can accommodate two passengers seated in tandem, with as little protection as the Bentley Boys who won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1928 with the model original.
Up to 72 km / h for this reduced Bentley Blower
Of course, there is no longer any question of finding here the famous four and a half Roots compressor from the original model. The LCC car features a rear electric machine with a maximum power of 20 hp (15 kW) in Sport mode, for a top speed limited to 72 km/h. The 10.8 kWh battery promises a range of 105 km. Recharging can be done via a Type 2 socket, located on the front of the dummy compressor.
Admittedly funny next to a real Blower worth 25 million pounds, this creation is in fact much more desirable than all the other electric quadricycles on the market. But there will not be for everyone: the first batch will be limited to 99 copies, at a price that will probably prohibit access to many people.
