Zapping Auto Moto Test: at the wheel of the restyled Peugeot 2008!
Only a few days left before the official opening of the Munich Motor Show (IAA), scheduled for September 5. Manufacturers are getting busy, and are starting to talk about what they will bring to their stands. It’s Audi’s turn, which is releasing a teaser for its restyled Q8.
The brand’s coupe-like SUV, launched in 2018, is coming to mid-career and will undergo a few minor touch-ups this year. Thanks to the illustration unveiled by Audi, we already know what the new taillights will look like. They have a new light signature, probably with the OLED technology inaugurated by other models of the brand such as the restyled Q5 in 2021. The other modifications should however be limited to optics, shields or even now flat logos.
On board, the restyled Q8 could review its infotainment system. But for the moment, no communication from Audi or any spy photos of prototype crossed during development. However, the dashboard should not be too jostled.
See you on September 5
On the technical side, difficult to say more for the moment. The range of engines of the Q8 is rather wide and focuses on dynamism. The rechargeable hybrid will logically be renewed, while the SQ8 and RSQ8 sports variants could see the power of their V8 4.0 biturbo increase, as is the case with the RS6 Performance and RS7 Sportback Performance recently. These have gone from 600 to 630 hp and from 800 to 850 Nm of torque.
Audi therefore gives us an appointment at the Munich show from September 5, 2023 to discover in detail its retouched SUV. The brand should also present more information on its future Q6 e-tron, the electric SUV expected for 2024.
