Zapping Auto Moto Renault Rafale: first contact with the large SUV coupé from the Losange
Remember: a few days ago, in the middle of the F1 summer break, a bad buzz aimed at Max Verstappen. The latter was indeed filmed at the wheel of an Aston Martin Valkyrie, a real F1 road car, at 124 km / h in the Canta-Galet tunnel, on the A 8 motorway, towards Monaco. One section was at 90 km/h. Something to react…
And yet, Max Verstappen has a conduct “exemplary in every way”. It’s not us who say it but… the chief of staff of the prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes! No more no less. Joined by Nice morning, the latter defended the pilot, providing new information. Information to which the media in question also had access:
“Max Verstappen respects the safety distances, falls back, puts on the indicator. The analysis of his average speed, using his two tickets, also shows that it is perfectly compliant with the Code of the road.”
Max Verstappen will not be prosecuted
His only deviation at the wheel during this outing would therefore have been his slight speeding under the tunnel. Enough to react on the web but certainly not lead to legal proceedings. The chief of staff of the prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes has therefore decided not to prosecute the Dutch pilot in court.
Remember that in addition to the excess speed, the pilot monopolized the left lane. He also wore a helmet, provided by the manufacturer because the Valkyrie’s V12 is too loud, but actually prohibited. Offenses that could have resulted in prosecution. Fortunately, the Red Bull driver is doing well.

To sum up
