Alfa Romeo presented a new exclusive model, a thermal or electric hypercar. This is a small series and high price model, which marks the beginning of a new era for the brand.
Alfa Romeo has been promising us a revival to come for several years now. But with the few changes perceived within the brand, we could begin to question ourselves.
Finally, the presentation of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale has something to reassure the manufacturer. We can’t help but think that such a project wouldn’t have seen the light of day if it hadn’t been led by a passionate CEO, in this case Jean-Philippe Imparato.
The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale represents in any case a perfect bridge between tradition, modernity and the future. The tradition for the global tribute to the 33 models of the manufacturer, and more precisely to the Tipo 33. The sports model was produced between 1967 and 1971, and one of the variations was also the 33 Stradale.
A name that we find here in this exceptional hypercar that is the new 33 Stradale. We said above that it represented modernity, since it is adorned with an electric motor, and the future we were talking about is that of the brand, of which it represents the future aesthetic codes.
Alfa Romeo will manufacture 33 units of this model, and all have already found takers. Owners will be able to have their model fully configured, particularly in terms of paint, interior, finishes, but also part of the serial number.

A customizable configuration and two engines
Four colors will be available, with an Alfa Romeo red, a “Villa d’Este” red, a blue, or a red and white decoration. The interior will offer two finishes, either a leather/aluminum mix or a carbon/Alcantara combination.
And above all, customers will be able to choose between a thermal version and an electric motor. The first mentioned will be based on a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 of 620 horsepower. But it is obviously the ‘zero emission’ version that interests us.
The latter will display 750 horsepower, and the electric 33 Stradale will be a 4-wheel drive. The autonomy of this version should be 450 kilometers, thanks to a battery of 102 kWh capacity.
Alfa Romeo did not communicate the proportion of electric versions and thermal variants. We do not know a specific price, since the firm reminds that each copy will be unique. One thing seems certain, the million euro mark will be exceeded, whatever the version.
“With the new 33 Stradale, we wanted to create something that lives up to our history, that serves the brand and that makes Alfists proud”said Imparato, noting that this is the revival of the ‘fuoriserie’ range.
