The Prancing Horse gallops on two tracks this season, in Formula 1 and in endurance. Admittedly, the manufacturer from Maranello was already represented in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in recent years, already through the AF Corse structure, but not in the premier category.
In 2023, his arrival in Hypercar was accompanied by a victory in the premier event of the championship, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, on June 11. At the heart of a season dominated by Toyota, Ferrari managed to triumph in La Sarthe thanks to the #51 499P entrusted to the trio of James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi and Alessandro Pier Guidi.

From then on, the F1 team wanted to pay tribute to this remarkable success by decorating its SF-23 with a special livery for the Italian Grand Prix, from September 1 to 3. It is affixed mainly to the bonnet and more discreetly to the muzzle, via the installation of a large yellow band, a color also chosen to color the numbers 16 and 55 of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, as well as the combination and the helmet of the two pilots.
Will this victory-scented livery bring Ferrari luck in its home test at Monza? The Scuderia has not won a Grand Prix for over a year. His last success dates back to July 10, 2022, when Charles Leclerc won in Austria, on Red Bull land, ahead of Max Verstappen.

To sum up
On the occasion of its Grand Prix at home, in front of the tifosi in Monza, Scuderia Ferrari opts for a livery in a nod to the remarkable success of the brand during the 24 Hours of Le Mans last June. A good omen for this Sunday?
