The starting prices of the Model S and Model Y fall back below €100,000, still in the Dual Motor version.
The event of the day at Tesla is obviously the presentation of the restyled Model 3, which Automobile-Propre was able to discover exclusively. But that’s not the only change in the lineup. On this September 1st, there is something new on the Model S and Model X side.
The large sedan and the large SUV are becoming more “accessible”. So no, Tesla has not added the entry-level Autonomy Standard version to the catalog, which appeared in the United States in August. The manufacturer has simply lowered prices again.
In Dual Motor version, with a range of 634 km, the Model S is now displayed at 94,990 €. It thus falls below the symbolic bar of €100,000. It used to cost €106,490… and even €113,990 at the start of the year. She therefore lost 19,000 € in a few months. Its super-powerful Plaid variant now costs “only” €109,990, whereas before it was €131,490 and even €138,990 at the start of the year! With this declination of 1020 hp, it goes from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.1 seconds. The autonomy is 600 km.
No jealousy for the Model X, which is also becoming cheaper, on its scale of course. The entry ticket is reduced by €14,500 all of a sudden, to be placed at €99,990. A few months ago, it was at €121,990. The Dual Motor model announces here 576 km of autonomy. The three-motor Plaid variant now costs €114,990, up from €134,490 previously.
Note that all body colors are now standard on these models.
