Royal Enfield’s Bullet is an undisputed icon in motorcycling history. First launched in 1932, it holds the record for longest continuous production motorcycle. The new Royal Enfield Bullet 350, model year 2024, continues this tradition with a series of updates that modernize it a bit. An announcement that was made in India, but not yet formalized for Europe.

The retro design is one of the main assets of the Bullet and Royal Enfield has therefore played the card of classicism to the full. Iconic elements such as the round tank, large mudguards and massive fork sliders are still present, but with a modern twist. The lighting has been completely overhauled with new headlights, turn signals and a rear light, while maintaining a classic style. But the Indians didn’t dare switch them to full LED, perhaps a bit too modern?
The new Bullet 350 will be available in three variants, each with a different color selection. Color options include Military Red, Military Black, Standard Brown, Standard Black, and Gold Black.
A new experience

The bike’s riding experience has also been modernized with a new dashboard. It combines an analog speed gauge and an LCD display for the first time in its 91 year history! Information displayed includes a maintenance reminder, fuel gauge, three trip meters and even an “Eco” light to encourage fuel-efficient driving.
The Bullet 350 also received ergonomic improvements. The saddle has been redesigned to offer better comfort, the arrangement of the footrests and the handlebars have also been redesigned to guarantee a more comfortable riding position.
The updated J-Platform

The new Bullet 350 is still powered by the J-series 349cc single-cylinder engine, also used in other Royal Enfield models such as the Hunter and Meteor 350. This engine delivers a maximum power of 20.2 horsepower at 6 100 rpm and a torque of 19.9 Nm at 4000 rpm. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
For its part, the chassis of the Bullet 350 has been redesigned to offer better stability and improved handling. The bike rides on a 41mm telescopic fork up front and dual spring rear shocks. The tires are wider than the previous generation, which should improve grip and handling. Additionally, the new Bullet 350 is equipped with front and rear disc brakes, providing more stopping power.
The Bullet 350 in Europe?

Production of the new Bullet 350 has already started in India where it was unveiled. It should be officially presented here at the EICMA show in Milan and arrive on European markets in early 2024.
We do not yet know its price in Europe, but the current Classic 350, which should remain in the catalog, is sold at 5,290 euros. The Bullet will therefore become a more “top-of-the-range” version, better equipped and therefore more expensive…
