“My feeling is incredible to see the tifosi with us. I obviously wanted to be on pole but I’m very happy that it was Carlos Sainz who took pole position. It’s great for Ferrari. The team has done an incredible job since the beginning of the weekend. I had to work a little harder in FP1, FP2, FP3. In qualifying I had little free air. On my side, I suffered a lot but I thank the supporters. I don’t smile often when I’m 3rd but to see that support it’s amazing. It would be great to be 1st and 2nd with Carlos (Sainz) tomorrow after the GP.”
