Akrapovič, the world leader in motorcycle exhausts, presents its latest creations for Honda XL750 Transalp and Honda CB750 Hornet owners. These innovative silencers not only give your motorcycle a unique style, they also offer impressive power gains.
For lovers of the new Transalp
If you own a Honda XL750 Transalp, Akrapovič has designed the Slip-On Line silencer in titanium. Made with lightweight, yet durable materials, it features a sleek black outer shell, a futuristic design tip and a stand, all made from ultra-light titanium. The connecting tube and internal structure are made of high quality stainless steel. This combination of materials provides exceptional lightness and durability.
The power of carbon for the Hornet
Now let’s move on to the Honda CB750 Hornet, which benefits from the Slip-On Line carbon silencer. The outer shell of this silencer is handcrafted from carbon fiber, giving it a truly unique look. Inside, we find a high-quality stainless steel structure and a connecting tube, all connected to a boldly designed titanium tip. This mix of materials offers an ideal combination of lightness and performance.
More power, less weight
Akrapovič engineers set the bar very high when developing these silencers. The titanium Slip-On Line for the Transalp improves acceleration response and ease of driving. The results speak for themselves: a power increase of 0.7 kW (0.9 hp) and a torque gain of 1.3 Nm at 5,700 rpm compared to the original system. These impressive figures were obtained during tests on Akrapovič’s in-house dynamometer.
The carbon Slip-On Line for the Hornet doesn’t do anything by half measures either. With gains in power and torque, particularly at mid and high revs, this silencer improves overall performance. The numbers speak for themselves: an increase of 0.5 kW (0.7 hp) at 5,250 rpm and 0.6 Nm at 5,300 rpm compared to a Honda CB750 Hornet equipped with the system original. These performances were also verified on Akrapovič’s in-house dynamometer.
In addition to the power gains, these silencers offer another valuable advantage: weight reduction. The titanium Slip-On Line lightens the bike by 1.6 kg, a reduction of 39.8% compared to the original exhaust. As for the carbon Slip-On Line, it reduces the weight by 1.8 kg, a reduction of 45.6%. So you can say goodbye to unnecessary weight and enjoy a more responsive motorcycle.
Approved and ready for action
These silencers meet Euro 5 CE/CEE approval standards, which means that no reprogramming of the injection is necessary to use them. Installation is a breeze thanks to the simple plug-and-play system. Once fitted to your motorcycle, these silencers will deliver the deep, sporty and distinctive sound that characterizes Akrapovič when you open the throttle. In addition, they are perfectly compatible with original Honda soft saddlebags.
Good news for bikers: these two new silencers are available now. As well as adding a personal touch to your bike, they will offer you improved performance, significant weight reduction, and of course, that unmistakable Akrapovič sound.
