New Lamborghini Countach: the majority of customers already have the old one
ADVERTISEMENT

According to Lamborghini, the majority of customers who bought the new Countach already have the older generation in their garage.

Since its revelation a few months ago, the Lamborghini Countach has never ceased to be talked about, for good as well as more negative. Because if some appreciate the homage paid by the mark to this mythical car, others on the other hand appreciate less this “recarossage”. Starting with the designer of the original version, Marcello Gandini, who lambasted the Italian manufacturer in a bitter press release. But anyway, all of the 112 planned copies have already found a buyer, just a few days after the revelation of this new generation, eagerly awaited by fans of the Sant’Agata firm.

A real success

What is rather funny, and actually not surprisingly enough, is that the vast majority of customers who bought this new version already own the old one. It was not a condition imposed by the manufacturer, which is all the more interesting. It is Lamborghini itself who discloses this information, claiming that “ most of the orders have been placed by enthusiasts who already own an original Countach “. No details on the configurations chosen by the customers were revealed, but we can be sure that some wanted to match their two cars!

As a reminder, this new Lamborghini Countach takes under its hood a 6.5-liter hybrid V12 taken from the Sian, then developing no less than 814 horsepower. The first deliveries will start from the first quarter of 2022.
