After the return of the legendary A110 badge in 2017, in the form of a Berlinette, Alpine will revive the A310. At the time, it was a coupe with a more imposing size and more sculptural lines than the A110.
This time it will be a four-seater electric coupe. This is the segment called 2+2, for the number of places. But the Dieppe manufacturer will not abandon its philosophy about car design.
Thus, the future A310 will be based on the APP platform, Alpine Performance Platform, like the future electric A110. The modular platform will keep it dynamic and light. Obviously, we must expect a significant mass for this model, but it will nevertheless be a coupe.
“Even if all our future models will be electric, they will be real Alpine”, said Bruce Pillard. The brand’s marketing director promises “the DNA of agility and lightness. Even though it is an electric car with a battery inside, you will feel the lightness. »
” Its very important “continues the one who is convinced that the model will be a success, and not a niche vehicle. “The A110 is limited in volume because it is a two-seater car, and we know that adding two extra seats to a car makes a huge difference.”
Anthony Villain, Alpine’s design director, promised that the design of the future A310 would be finished in a year and a half. We can therefore hope for a presentation of this vehicle in early 2025.
