Zapping Auto Moto Ford Bronco 2023 test: bench for the Bronco
Distributor margins are low, around 1 to 3%. But under pressure from the State, some of the latter agree to reduce them. Latest example with Intermarché. The company launched an at-cost fuel operation.
This operation will take place once a month. Dates are already set for Friday and Saturday of the last weekend of each month (except December). This will run until the end of the current year. Find the dates on which these operations will be organized below:
The dates of fuel at cost price at Intermarché
- September 29-30
- October 27-28
- November 24-25
- December 15-16
For customers, nothing will change. In fact, only the prices will change (probably by just a few cents…). Motorists will only have to go to the pump and pay a little less for their liter of gasoline.
An operation which follows those carried out this summer
This cost-price fuel operation follows what other distributors have been able to put in place recently. Let us mention the Casino brands. The latter have been making an offer of this type since September 1st and until October 22nd. The “discount” is in place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
This summer too, an offer of this type was put in place. E.Leclerc set up this operation on weekends between the end of June and the end of August. The latter was in place from June 30 to the weekend of August 25.
In the meantime, the bosses of E.Leclerc and Système U have promised new aid. Still, they are calling on distributors/refiners, as well as the government, to take action. The latter in fact have more margins. Executive taxes are therefore worth 50% of the price.
