Zapping Auto Moto Renault Rafale: first contact with the large SUV cut from the Losange
In an article published Friday evening, the newspaper The Republican East was the first to share this information. The Vesoul gendarmerie (Haute-Saône, 70) has uncovered a vast amount of traffic code traffic. According to the results of a survey carried out since last May, some 1,400 people obtained their exam for cold hard cash. Information since confirmed to AFP by the community of brigades of Vesoul.
A “number that could quickly double”
As our colleagues from L’Est Républicain point out, “this number could quickly double” according to them. This is because the affair has taken on a national dimension. If it is indeed three Vésuliens who were at the head of this network and who were also placed in police custody for this around mid-July, the people who benefited from this deception are found almost everywhere in France.
The process was simple: you just had to go to an encrypted messaging application and pay a sum ranging from €250 to €600. The brains behind the operation were in contact with the manager of an examination center for the Dekra brand located in Île-de-France, in Val de Marne. It was this person who validated the highway codes and this would have allowed him to earn some €120,000.
The center in question was closed by Dekra management. The list of fraudsters was given to all prefectures in France so that their highway code and, where applicable, their licenses are invalidated.
