Italian carmaker Garage Italia has come up with an amazing Fiat Punto with deliciously vintage décor.
Who does not know the legendary Fiat Punto, born in 1993? Definitively disappeared in 2018, the Italian compact should nevertheless make a comeback, undoubtedly in another form, while Stellantis wants to relaunch the brand, which has been losing ground for several years now. But anyway, that’s not why the Punto has been forgotten, quite the contrary. Indeed, the Italian preparer Garage Italia, known for its sometimes surprising transformations of transalpine models has decided to tackle the former star of the range. Fiat, by offering it a very beautiful Christmas decoration with a resolutely vintage spirit.
Ready for adventure
Unveiled in the form of digital renderings, this Fiat Punto offers a superb livery straight from the past, bearing the Bauli logo. Dressed in red and light pink, the compact also offers large rims borrowed from the Lancia Delta, which seem to touch the wheel arches, which have not been enlarged a priori. In reality, the stylistic changes seem minimal, and concern only the livery of the car. It is nevertheless distinguished by the presence of a pink roof box as well, which will then allow you to go on an adventure and take all the Christmas presents to your family.
If this car will very probably never see the light of day, the Garage Italia teams have nevertheless clarified that they have swapped the original Punto GT engine for the 1.4 liter of the Fiat Uno Turbo, developing 133 horsepower, for a maximum speed of 200 km / h.
