We owe this superb achievement to a Californian preparer, specialized in restomod. Occasionally a Porsche 911 Type 993 was chosen.
Gunther Werks 993 Speedster Remastered – Among the Porschist community, many consider it to be the most beautiful of the 911s. The Type 993, which appeared in… 1993, was necessarily the ideal basis for creating theone of the most charming speedsters there is, and this is the goal that has set the trainer Gunther Werks, whose neighborhoods are established in Huntington Beach, California, not far from Monterey where the car was revealed during Car Week last August.
A carbon fiber loving restomod
This ambitious project was unveiled in a shade of dark green, and returns this winter dressed in aViola Metallic paint with the most beautiful effect. In detail, the 993 Speedster Remastered sports the legendary Fuchs type rims, within which are carpets of purple brake calipers. But the most spectacular elements of this preparation are those covering the carbon fiber, such as the contour of the windshield, the roll bars behind the headrests, the bonnet and, of course, the splendid duck tail spoiler. By diving into the cabin, we are ecstatic in front of the carbon fiber bucket seats on which rests a gray / white textile finished with contrasting purple piping.
Nice engine finish
If Gunther Werks dazzles with this exceptional achievement, thehe californian wizard also heals the bowels of his baby powered by an foriginal Rothsport Racing 4.0 l atmospheric lat-6 which develops more than 435 hp and 454 Nm of torque. This power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels thanks to a upgraded version of the original Getrag manual transmission. By making intensive use of carbon fiber, the 993 Speedster Remastered does not than 1,175 kg on the scale, promising fire performance.
Gunther Werks plans to assemble only 25 copies of this little gem, all probably already sold, although the price has not yet been communicated to the general public.
