Zapping Auto Moto Hyundai Ioniq 5 N: contact with the 650 hp electric battery!
Many car manufacturers are giving in to the competition which has launched into a real “price war”. Ford Mustang Mach-e, Audi Q4 e-tron, Smart #1, Kia EV9, all these vehicles have recently seen their prices drop, sometimes even to the point of accessing the ecological bonus thanks to an invoice below €47,000. The Fisker Ocean is added to the list, seeing its purchase bill reduced by several thousand euros for the high-end version.
Until now priced at €70,930 in France in its high-end Extreme version, the Ocean Extreme now costs €64,590. A reduction of €6,340, which has already come into effect with us. For those who had already signed the order form before the price drop, or even already received their vehicle, Fisker is a good player and offers a refund of the same amount. “It is essential that Fisker responds to the realities of competition in the growing electric vehicle market,” said Henrik Fisker, president and CEO of the company. “We want our customers to have greater access to the Fisker Ocean and enjoy its exciting combination of innovative features, remarkable design, durable materials and industry-leading battery life,” he added.
The Fisker Ocean Extreme has a 113 kWh battery (106 kWh net) and has a WLTP range of 707 km, one of the best on an electric SUV in Europe currently. This variant has two electric motors and automatic all-wheel drive, for 564 hp. 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 3.7 seconds.
Price adjustments for other finishes
At the same time, Fisker announces adjustments to the rest of the range for the year 2024. The two entry-level finishes Sport and Ultra see their prices change from November 6, 2024, taking into account transport costs and getting started even though they were indicated separately. Thus, the price of the Ocean Ultra will be €57,990 compared to €58,840 currently, and that of the Ocean Sport will be €43,990 compared to €42,880 currently. Fisker specifies that in this case, the current prices for the Sport and Ultra models remain in effect for all orders placed before November 5, 2023.
For the record, the Fisker Ocean Ultra exceeded Fisker’s WLTP range estimates, with 690 km of range announced thanks to its NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) battery. The Sport version has a WLTP range estimated by Fisker at 465 km, due to its more affordable LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery. This variant is also the only one to qualify for the €5,000 ecological bonus until the end of the year, while waiting to know if the model will be able to benefit from the 2024 bonus.
