The project for a Tesla car at 25,000 euros is getting closer
Indeed, to produce its future Tesla Model 2, the American company could implement a revolutionary manufacturing process. Tesla is working on a Giga Press capable of exerting up to 16,000 tons of pressure to make larger parts. The structure of this future 25,000 euro vehicle could only be made up of one part, instead of 400 for a conventional model. Enough to reduce the price while making a profit.
According to several rumors, this 25,000 euro electric model should be built on several sites of the car manufacturer, notably in China, Mexico and therefore in Germany. The European market might be keen on such a car. The analysts of Loup Ventures estimate that production of the Tesla Model 2 could start as early as 2024. This seems totally unlikely given that the brand is already busy with the launch of the Cybertruck.

During his visit to Berlin, Elon Musk also said that works of art will soon cover all of the factory’s concrete walls. An anecdotal detail but which perhaps shows that the boss of Tesla is seeking to improve the working environment of his employees. A few weeks ago, more than 1,000 of them joined an automobile industry union to obtain better working conditions. This is surely not a coincidence.
