Elon Musk’s brand continues to see its worldwide sales grow. To the point of sticking to the German automobile giants …
Here is a graph that leaves little room for ambiguity. Produced by Berlin market analyst Matthias Schmidt, this infographic shows the evolution of Tesla’s global deliveries since the first quarter of 2016.
#Tesla global deliveries head towards the German premium corridor of between 400,000 to 600,000 quarterly deliveries. Tesla is expected to reach @VWGroup‘s premium #Audi brand quarterly levels during 2022 according to the monthly European Electric Car Study. pic.twitter.com/N22X5lfkid

And the progression of the Californian manufacturer is astounding. Over the last three months of 2021, Tesla has delivered more than 300,000 vehicles, down from just under 200,000 a year earlier.
A figure that brings Elon Musk’s company closer to the German giants, who see their quarterly deliveries oscillate between 400,000 and 600,000 depending on the economic context and the availability of parts.
The smallest of the three German premium manufacturers is Audi, with 1.7 to 2 million vehicles registered each year. Tesla could glue back to the four rings with the inauguration of two factories in the coming months (in Texas and Germany). Europe will see in particular the growth of its orders with the massive arrival of Model Y on its roads.
Order books are full and the ascent is not over for Tesla …
